Girls bounce back with win over Kasson-Mantorville
The Lake City Tigers girls basketball team took on Kasson-Mantorville Friday, Dec. 21 and came away with the win 68-56.
The Tigers took a quick 10-5 lead on the KoMets with a couple of nice passes from Ava Wallerich to Grace Bany and Mya Shones.
The KoMets put on a full court press but the Tigers were able to handle the pressure and get the ball up the court with ease. With 4:41 to go in the first half Lake City led by four points. The Tigers did not allow K-M to get any closer then three points during the first half of the game.
