Girls bowlers finish sixth at state tournament
The Lake City Tiger girls bowling team traveled to the state tournament this past weekend at Colonial Lanes in Rochester, where the top sixteen teams in the state bowled to see who the state champs would be.
There were two eight team pools, with the top three teams in each pool with the most wins and the two wild card teams with the most pinfall would moving on to the final eight team bracket. The girls would win seven out of eight matches in pool play, winning pool B with 14.5 points, averaging 173 a game.
