Girls fall to Wingers in season-opener
The Lake City High School girls golf team opened their season on April 15 against Red Wing at Lake City Golf Club (LCGC). The Wingers came out on top 369-385.
Lake City was led by Mattie Mears 88, Julia Huettl 98, Jordyn Dicke 99, and Taylor Davidson 100. Other scores included Olivia Ohlhaber 103 and Alayna Atkinson 109.
It was a typical early season event with cool and windy weather conditions which make club selection a bit of a challenge. Only two girls broke 90 so it was tough out there.
