Girls finish seventh at state true team meet
The Lake City High School girls track and field team finished seventh in the Minnesota State Coaches Association True Team Track and Field State Meet Saturday, May 21, at Stillwater High School.
The Tigers were one of nine teams to advance to the meet from a field of over 176 teams statewide. Blue Earth won the meet with 420 points, Osakis was second (399.5), followed by Luverne (383), Holdingford (327), Trinity School at River Ridge (314), Park Rapids Area (295), Lake City (294), Pierz (274.5), and Frazee (266).
