Girls golf: Three-peat eludes Tigers, who finish second at state
The Lake City High School girls golf team (LC) fell just short of their goal of a three-peat after capturing back to back state championships in 2021 and 2022 at the State Class AA Championship held at the Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan.
The Tiger squad 322-332 (654) was edged by Pequot Lakes by three strokes 329-322 (651) followed by Providence Academy 340-345 (685), Park Rapids Area 356-352 (708), Redwood Valley 356-358 (714), Academy of Holy Angels 365-361 (726), Jordan 366-373 (739), and Rock Ridge 391-395 (786).
