Girls golf: Top-ranked Tigers win two
The Lake City Girls Golf (LC) team, top ranked in Class AA, captured the Jordan Invite at the Ridges at Sand Creek on April 25 by firing a 339 followed by Providence Academy 374, Jordan 375, Byron 377, Chanhassen 387, St. Peter 403, Mankato East 457, and St. Croix Lutheran 480.
The Tiger squad was led by medalist Jordana Windhorst Knudsen’s 78, Mattie Mears (fourth individually) 84, Ella Matzke 88, and Emma Berge 89. Other scores included Brooke Bee 90 and Kaitlin Schmidt 99.
