Girls rebound with win over Cannon Falls
The Lake City Tigers girls basketball team (10-4), traveled to Cannon Falls on Tuesday, Jan. 15 and came away with a 79-43 win.
The Tigers started out slow but were able to take the lead over the Bombers in the first half. Lake City was able to pound the ball inside to both Mya Shones and Grace Bany, giving Cannon Falls some challenges guarding the two big forwards.
The Tigers were able to move the ball around in the first half well and find the open person inside. Lake City went into the locker room with a six point lead 36-30.
