Girls soccer defeats Cannon Falls

The Lake City Tiger soccer girls had their first home game on Thursday, Aug. 30, hosting the Cannon Falls Bombers.
Sophomore Teagan Herbst was first to score 15 minutes into the game, followed by a goal from freshman, Mikayla Arendt six minutes later.
The Bombers were able to score in the last minutes of the first half ending 2-1.
Cannon Falls was able to score first in the second half. Denying a negative mood swing, the Tigers answered back less than a minute later with a goal from sophomore, Ashley Veronen.
