Girls soccer season ends with 1-3 loss to St. Charles

The Lake City High School girls soccer team, sixth seed, faced St. Charles, third seed, on Oct. 12.

Lake City held St. Charles 0-1 at the half. Terrific passing and movement from captains Carly Earnest-Miller and Mikayla Arendt led the girls down the field. With a through ball from Arendt, sophomore Baily Earnest-Miller was able to find the back of the net. Unfortunately, that was the Tigers’ sole goal as they bowed to the Saints 1-3.
