Girls soccer team snaps losing streak against Bombers

The Lake City Tiger girls soccer team had a break-out game against Cannon Falls on Sept. 15, defeating the visiting Bombers 4-1.

The win came after three straight games in which opponents held the Tigers scoreless.

Four players scored for Lake City: Mikayla Arendt, Baily Earnest-Miller, Sam Darnell, and Teagan Herbst.

The girls were scheduled to play Lourdes in Rochester on Sept. 18 and Triton/Kenyon-Wanamingo-Hayfield on Sept. 22 before travelling to Cannon Falls Friday, Sept. 25, for a rematch against the Bombers.
