Girls tennis continues winning momentum

The Lake City girls Tiger tennis team came out on top with their rematch against Cannon Falls Sept. 21, 4-3.
In singles play, Ava Wallerich took the point at No. 1, 6-0, 6-1; Ashley Theiren cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2; Sarah Ziebarth won easily at No. 3, 6-1, 6-2; and Kaylee Muenzhuber was defeated 2-6, 1-6 at No. 4.
In doubles play, Emma Brunkow and Renae Harvey were defeated 4-6, 4-6 at No. 1.
Kasi Cronin and Hailey Meincke won their point, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2.
Katherine Kennedy and Maddie Medvec were defeated in three sets, 3-6, 6-0, 4-6.
