Girls tennis cruises in back-to-back wins
The Lake City High School girls Tiger tennis team notched two more victories last week, staring with a win at home against Red Wing 5-2 on Aug. 28. They followed that up with a clean sweep of Cannon Falls on Aug. 29 7-0.
Against Red Wing, Ava Wallerich took the point in two sets at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-2.
Sarah Ziebarth made quick work of her match at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
At No. 3 singles, Renae Harvey came away a winner 6-1, 6-0.
Olivia Morrisey was in control at No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-2.
