Girls track hosts Subsection 3 meet
On Wednesday, June 2, Lake City hosted the Section 1A Sub-section 3 qualifier track and field meet.
Plainview-Elgin-Millville won the meet with 179.33 points and was followed by St. Charles (131), Rochester Lourdes (120.50), Lake City (116.75), Lewiston-Altura (71), Dover-Eyota (47), and Wabasha-Kellogg (23.25).
Senior and captain Ashley Veronen won the 100 meter hurdles with a season’s best time of 16.28, and she also finished first in the 300 hurdles with another season’s best of 47.44.
