Girls track takes 2nd at true team
The Lake City Tiger girls track team competed at the True Team Section 1A Championship meet held in Rushford May 9. This year Lanesboro-Fillmore Central/Mabel-Canton finished first with 866 and the Lake City girls were second with 848. Dover-Eyota followed closely with 844.5. Rushford was fourth with 810.5, followed by Chatfield 743, Pine Island 724.5, St. Charles 660.5, Kenyon-Wanamingo 646, Zumbrota-Mazeppa 646, Wabasha-Kellogg 517, Hayfield 486.5, Blooming Prairie 448, Cotter 445.5, Triton 430.5, Lewiston-Altura 404.5, Medford 395.5, and Shaffer Academy 221.
