Girls track takes third in Stewartville

On Thursday, April 22, the Lake City girls track and field team competed in the Glen Amundsen Invitational. Grand Meadow/LeRoy-Ostrander/Kingsland won the meet with 117 points, Stewartville was second with 82, Lake City was third with 51 and Lyle-Pacelli finished fourth with 6 points.

The Tiger girls captured top spots in several open events.

Ashley Veronen ran two season best times in the hurdles. She finished third in the 100 meter hurdle race with 17.23 and second in the 300 hurdle race with 50.02.
