Golf girls win HVL meet at Willow Creek

The Lake City Tigers girls golf team captured the second Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) meet on May 2 at Willow Creek Golf Course in Rochester.
Lake City totaled 327 strokes to win by 43 strokes over Kasson-Mantorville 327-370, followed by Stewartville 382, Cannon Falls 395, Byron 429, and Rochester Lourdes 467. Triton, Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa, and Kenyon-Wanamingo had incomplete squads.
