Gophers’ Taylor Heise named National Player of the Month
Taylor Heise has been named National Player of the Month for November by the Hockey Commissioner’s Association, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) has announced.
The Lake City native, Red Wing High School graduate and University of Minnesota Gopher women’s hockey player “was recently named Western Collegiate Hockey Association Forward of the Month after a 16-point effort through November’s six games. (She) had eight goals and eight assists while skating to a plus-15 rating on the ice.
