Harvey takes fifth at state wrestling meet
Lincoln High School freshman Jonathan Harvey competed in the state wrestling meet this past weekend and finished in fifth place at 106 pounds in Class AA.
Harvey opened the tourney against No. 4 seeded Dylan Louwagie of Marshall. The match was tied at two at the end of regulation so the match went into overtime. After overtime the match was still tied so they went into the ultimate overtime and Louwagie was able to earn a reversal and near fall to win the match 7-2.
Louwagie then won his next match, which brought Jon back into the tourney.
