Heise’s pro debut just weeks away

The inaugural season of the six-team Professional Women’s Hockey League begins Jan. 1.
Lake City native Taylor Heise and the Minnesota team recently played and won three scrimmages in Utica, N.Y.
Minnesota’s season opens in Boston on Jan. 3. The team will have its home opener on Saturday, Jan. 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
