Heise and Frost win back-to-back PWHL titles
Lake City native Taylor Heise and the Minnesota Frost clinched their second straight Walter Cup on May 26, defeating the Ottawa Charge 2–1 in a dramatic overtime game at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
After Kelly Pannek opened the scoring in the second period and Tereza Vanišová tied it late, Liz Schepers scored the overtime winner—her second consecutive championship-clinching goal.
Throughout the play-offs Taylor Heise had 1 goal and 6 assists, which was second on the team with 7 points.
