Heise makes women’s national team, will compete for world championship

Taylor Heise is travelling to Denmark later this month after being named to the 23-player roster of the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team.
There the Lake City native will compete alongside 18 members of the silver-medalist 2022 U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team and other elite women’s hockey players in pursuit of a International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship in Herning and Frederikshavn, Denmark, between Aug. 25 and Sept. 4.
