Homecoming spoiled by solid Cannon Falls performance
Cannon Falls spoiled homecoming in Lake City as the Bombers rolled up 556 rushing yards in a convincing 58-14 victory. The Bombers amassed 440 total yards by halftime and held a commanding 46-7 lead after two quarters of play.
Cannon Falls fumbled the ball but retained possession on the first two offensive plays of the night but those would seemingly be the last mistakes of the night by the visitors. Marcus Banks opened the scoring with a 33-yard touchdown run, but the two-point conversion failed as Cannon Falls took a 6-0 lead with 7:06 left in the opening period.
