Hot shooting boys beat Kasson-Mantorville
Lake City rode hot shooting, including a 10 of 16 showing from three-point range to a 69-60 victory over previously unbeaten Kasson-Mantorville last Friday night at Lincoln High School.
Justin Wohlers opened the scoring with a triple on the first possession of the game as part of an 11-6 run over the first six minutes by the Tigers. Carson Matzke had two steals and two dazzling assists to Hunter Lorenson before the KoMets would answer with seven straight points to take a 13-11 lead with 9:58 remaining until halftime.
