Junior Legion team defeats Chatfield
A Junior Legion baseball team, comprised mainly of Lake City’s Legion team substitutes, beat Chatfield’s Junior Legion team 10-0 in five innings last Thursday at Bill Kieffer Field. Lake City scored three runs in the first inning, three in the fourth and four in the fifth which ended the game on the 10 run rule.
Among the leading hitters for the Post 110 junior team were Atticus Heise, who went 2 for 4 and scored three runs and Mason West, who was 2 for 3, scoring twice and driving in one.
