Junior Olympic volleyball tourney coincides with Water Ski Days
The Lake City Junior Olympic Volleyball Club (LCJOVB) hosted a tournament on Saturday, June 24, as part of the Water Ski Days festival in Lake City.
Coach Katie Dose said the tournament, held at the sand volleyball courts next to O’Neil Community Swimming Pool, was a “great success.”
One highlight of the day was the undefeated 12U Division B champion team of Madeline Kehren, Lillian Schumacher, Eden Boe, and Ava Emerson.
The 15U Division A team of Grace Dose, Alayna Atkinson, Allison Helmin, and Faith Bonde earned a silver medal.
