This past week the Tiger wrestling team slowed the pace of competition as the only event on the schedule was a dual meet against Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Thursday night. Lake City put up a good battle against another strong Z-M squad losing by the score of 42-25. The Cougars rolled to a commanding 31-0 lead winning the first 7 matches. Cris Ramirez dropped a close 7-4 match at 106 and Nate Evans lost by the score of 6-4 at 126. Luke Becker put the first points on the scoreboard for Lake City picking up a 9-1 major decision victory at 152 pounds.
