JV baseball team gives coach a W in his final game
On Saturday, May 21, the Lake City High School junior varsity baseball team defeated the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs 5-2 to close out their season.
The game also closes out James Heise s long coaching career. Heise stated that he really appreciated the gift from the team.
The lads played almost a perfect game, our pitching was strong, our hitting was timely and our defense was flawless, he said. It meant a lot to me that they ended my career with a win, I am so proud of the lads.
