JV boys golfers 1st in HVL triangular
The Lake City junior varsity (JV) boys’ golf team concluded their season last Tuesday with a first place finish at an Hiawatha Valley League triangular meet held at Dodge Country Club in Dodge Center.
The Tigers recorded a team score of 345 in beating Kasson-Mantorville and Kenyon-Wanamingo. Lake City was led by sophomore Carter Gnotke who carded an 84 and eighth grader Brady Schurhammer who fired an 85. Other local scorers were Mitch Marien 88, Tanner Frank 88, Jesse Oliver 92, and Alex Meincke 95.
