JV wrestlers show resolve on Parents Night
Thursday, Jan. 25, was parents night for the Lake City wrestling team, and the junior varsity (JV) took the mat against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) and Cannon Falls.
They squared off against PEM first and some first year mistakes reared their ugly head. Lake City was victorious in 3 of the 13 matches.
Recording those wins were: Kevin Mota, Izeley Kania and Greg Banaszynski.
In the second match against Cannon Falls this group of young men showed their resolve by winning 6 of the 9 matches.
