Lake City alum ends decorated college football career

Matt Glasenapp, a 2014 graduate of Lincoln High School, was the recipient of two football awards for his performance during the 2017 season.

Glasenapp, a kicker/punter, has been a four-year starter for the Macalester Scots, who are members of the Midwest Football Conference.

Glasenapp received All-Midwest Conference North first team honors as the Scots punter, averaging a conference-best 40.8 yards per punt to rank 19th nationally in division three football.

His longest punt was a 62 yarder in a victory over Carleton.
