Lake City boys beat PEM 38-36

Jaden Shones scored a career-high 17 points and Carson Matzke hit the game-winning field goal with 12 seconds remaining as Lake City edged Plainview-Elgin-Millville 38-36 last Thursday night at Lincoln High School.

The Tigers won their third one possession game in seven days and notched an important win in non-conference play against a section 1AA opponent.

Hunter Lorenson had five early points to complement Shones, who dominated the game in the early stages with a combination of hard drives to the basket and post moves in the lane.
