Lake City girls wrestle at section meet, Hofschulte and Hansen advance to state
On Saturday four Lake City Girl wrestlers competed in the Section 1 and 2 tournament at Hastings High School.
114 pound freshman Madyson Skifton, 138 pound sophomore Kylah Monette, 145 pound senior Emma Hofschulte and sophomore 152 pound Ericka Hansen represented Lake City.
Skifton lost her first 2 matches and did not earn a place to end the season with a record of 7-14.
Monette had her best effort of the season as she won 2 of her 5 matches on the day to finish in sixth place.
