Lake City net Tigers beat Stewie Tigers

The Lake City High School girls tennis team traveled to Stewartville Aug. 31 to take on their namesake Tigers and left winning handily 7-0.
In singles play, Ava Wallerich won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1; Ashley Thieren was in control 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2; Kaylee Muenzhuber finished in two sets at No. 3, 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) tiebreaker; and Sarah Ziebarth went three sets for the win at No. 4 6-2, 0-6, 6-4.
