Lake City tennis Tigers defeat Stewartville Tigers
The Lake City High School girls Tiger tennis traveled to Stewartville Sept. 16 to take on their namesake Tigers of a different stripe.
Sarah Ziebarth was defeated at No. 1 singles 1-6, 2-6.
Renae Harvey came up short at No. 2 singles, 3-6, 5-7.
At No. 3 singles, Madeline Medvec lost a hard fought three set battle 4-6, 7-5, 3-6.
Olivia Morrisey came out on top in her three set battle at No. 4 singles, 2-6, 7-6 (6) tiebreaker, 6-4.
The doubles bracket was swept by Lake City for the win.
