Late game surge lifts Tigers over Perham

There was little debating who had the best homegrown talent in Minnesota Class AA this season after an intense third place game between Lake City and Perham Saturday afternoon on the campus of Concordia University in Saint Paul.  In a dramatic second half that featured six lead changes, it was the Tigers that made key defensive plays down the stretch to emerge with out-state bragging rights, bronze medals and a big trophy to boot.
