Legion baseball opens with loss at Chatfield

The Lake City Legion baseball team started their season with a 13-7 loss at Chatfield last Thursday.
Lake City’s Post 110 squad was enjoying a 4-3 lead until the fifth inning when Chatfield exploded for nine runs on seven hits and four walks to take control of the game. Each team scored once in the sixth inning, and Lake City tallied two runs in the seventh for the final score.
