Legion baseball team falls 10-9 in season opener

The Lake City American Legion Post 110 started their summer season off with a trip to Dodge Center to play Triton, Lake City trailed 2 to 1 going into the 3rd inning when Lake City scored 3 runs with a 2 RBI double by Johan Zorn highlighting the inning. Lake City added another run in the top of the fifth inning to take a 5 to 2 lead.

Triton would score 7 runs in the bottom of the fifth on a combination of walks and errors that let to 5 of the runs being unearned, Triton took a 9 to 5 lead going into the top of the sixth inning.
