Legion baseball wins regular season finale
The Lake City American Legion Post 110 baseball team won their final regular season game against St. Charles Post 312 by a final score of 7-5 on Monday, July 11.
Lake City got things going early in the 2nd inning, scoring 3 runs off 2 hits and 2 walks. Johan Zorn got things started with a leadoff triple, eventually scoring on a wild pitch. Josh Wohlers and Karch Hegge followed with 2 walks, before advancing on another wild pitch and scoring off a Carter West single.
