Legion loses another close game 4-3
The Lake City American Legion Post 110 baseball team traveled to Pine Island Friday, July 1, and lost 4-3.
Lake City took a 1 to 0 lead in the second inning on a RBI single by Seth Harteneck scoring Johan Zorn who started the inning with a walk.
Pine Island scored 1 run in the 3rd inning to tie it up and another run in the 4th inning to take a 2-1 lead.
Lake City tied it up again in the top of the 5th inning. David Oeltjen started the inning with a double and came around to score on a single by Zorn.
