Legion nine open tourney with 15-4 win

The Lake City American Legion baseball team split two games this week, dropping a well played 2-0 game at St. Charles last Thursday in the regular season finale, and then winning their first round District 1 tournament game 15-4 at Chatfield Monday. Lake City is the fifth seed in the tournament, and Chatfield is the fourth seed in the double elimination 10 team tournament, so it was a mild upset, especially considering the score.
