Lincoln High School grad named Macalester special teams MVP
Matt Glasenapp, a 2014 graduate of Lincoln High School, received the Special Teams MVP award at the annual Macalester College football team banquet for the 2016 season.
Glasenapp, a kicker/punter, is a three-year starter for the Macalester Scots, who are members of the Midwest Football Conference.
Glasenapp averaged 38.0 yards per punt in 2016 and had four punts of 50 yards or more, including a 75-yard punt. Glasenapp’s play helped the 7-3 Scots control field position as he placed 17 of his 49 punts inside the 20 yard line.
