Little rest on the road to a world championship

Any high school girls hockey players can try out. But only 22 survive the eight stages of cuts to become members of America’s 18U women’s hockey team and play for a world championship.

Taylor Heise of Lake City has done it twice. And twice now her team has won it all.

This year’s tournament was held in Zlin, Czech Republic.
