Lorenson and Narum combine for 56 points in victory over Chatfield
Gavyn Lorenson poured in 36 points and Luke Narum scored 20 points, including a career-high six three-point field goals as Lake City raced past Chatfield 85-57 in the opening round of the Section 1AA playoffs at Lincoln High School on Feb. 26.
The Gophers opened by making six of their first eight shot attempts, resulting in a 16-10 lead after six minutes of play. Lorenson scored the first nine points of the game for the Tigers and 14 of the first 15 before Lake City took control with a 17-3 run spanning just over four minutes.
