Lorenson scores 1,000th career point in victory over Lancers
Gavyn Lorenson became the 13th player in Lake City Boys Basketball history to surpass the 1,000 career point mark as he scored 30 points to lead the Tigers to a 69-56 non-conference victory at La Crescent-Hokah last Monday night.
Needing just two points to reach the milestone, it took only 59 seconds for Lorenson to swish a free throw line jumper as the game was paused to recognize the eighth Tigers player in the past 11 seasons to reach four figures in career points.
