Matmen lose close match with Byron

The wrestling team hosted their first home match last Thursday against the Byron Bears. A very close match overall, it was a back and forth battle all the way to the end with the Tigers losing 42-32.
Lake City started the night off strong with a pin by Nate Evans (106) before losing three matches and fighting their way back. Joey Kozlowski (160) and Thomas Frank (220) both pinned their opponents as well, and Mason West (138) won by injury default. Once again, the Tigers were forced to forfeit a heavyweight position to Byron that brought the match to a close.
