Meincke wins 400 meter dash at girls True Team championship
The Lake City Tigers girls track and field team moved to a new True Team division this year. They were moved from the Section 1A meet to Section 1AA. The Section 1AA True Team Championship meet was held Tuesday, May 8 at the Paul Giel Field in Winona.
Byron finished first in the meet with 556 points, Red Wing was second with 512, followed by Stewartville (439), Plainview-Elgin Millville (438.5), Winona (398), Kasson-Mantorville (394), Lake City (383.5), Rochester Lourdes (360), Faribault (354.5), Pine Island (312) and Albert Lea (175).
