'New' Tigers open with basketball win

With 70 percent of its scoring gone from a team that went 24-4 a season ago and became just the second team in conference history to repeat as overall HVL Champions, Lake City took the floor for its season opener Friday night at Lincoln High School with a lot of new faces in the lineup. With two freshmen in the starting five, Lake City rode great balance to a 65-59 win over Plainview-Elgin-Millville to notch a victory in the season lid-lifter for the third consecutive year.
