New year, new season for Tiger winter athletes

Practices for four Lincoln High School winter sports got underway Monday, Jan. 4, at Lincoln High School and Bluff View Elementary School.

Varsity basketball players took to the newly-resurfaced Lincoln High School gym. Dancers practiced across the foyer in the auditorium. And wrestlers occupied the wrestling room at the south end of campus.

The start of winter sports was pushed into the new year by a governor’s order in response to fast-rising COVID-19 case numbers.
