Nick Jackson races Spring Creek final
He took an unexpected route to get there, but Nick Jackson of Lake City was in the field for the final finals race Saturday at the Spring Creek Nationals.
Along the way, he endured delays, getting edged out by a rider he sponsors, and some of the worst track conditions he’s experienced in competition.
Because of the rains and lightning what were supposed to be two practice runs and a race for the remaining four spots in the final were condensed to a single practice run.
