Noll was assistant coach on national champion football team

Michael Noll, a Lake City local and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls assistant defensive line coach, helped the college football team bring home a victory for the ages on Sunday, Jan. 4. The Falcons won 24-14 against North Central (Ill.) in an upset at the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl for the Division III national championship, bringing their long string of consecutive losing seasons to an end.
